Wanda entered the male world of high-mountain expeditions without an invitation and paid the highest price for it. The director of the film, who is a climber herself, sets off to the Himalayas in Wanda's footsteps. The clue to the search is the heroine's audio diary found among a pile of archival materials. Wanda disappeared 30 years ago. Her body was never found. Some say she stayed in a Buddhist monastery. The film explores her life and mystery with the participation of famous climbers: Reinhold Messner, Krzysztof Wielicki and Carlos Carsolio, as well as women close to her: sister Janina Fies and manager Marion Feik.
