Daaaaaalí!
A young French journalist faces a real challenge. She has to interview a man with an extraordinary mind, enormous talent and... an even bigger ego. We are talking about the famous Spanish painter, the leading surrealist Salvador Dalí (played by not one, but several esteemed French actors). This will not be an easy task for Judith (Anaïs Demoustier), who is taking her first steps in the profession, especially since her eccentric interviewee does not make things easier from the very beginning. He changes his mind all the time, unable to decide whether he wants to do an interview at all. And if he does, it will be in a completely different formula than initially planned.

Kneecap
"History is made of language, nations are made of stories. This is our story" - meet Kneecap, a hip-hop trio from Northern Ireland. Liam and Naoise always find a way to have fun in English-occupied Belfast, sell drugs, mock the enemy or run around with the overzealous police. And on top of that, they rap in Irish, on an island where more people even know... Polish. When JJ, an unfulfilled music teacher, unexpectedly joins them, Irish hip-hop becomes an expression of political protest for the three. This is how a film phenomenon was created, heating up cinemas like club dance floors. The fight for a linguistic national identity is combined here with a drug high, and a good party - with a real mission. This film energy bomb is a tribute to musical and cinematic rebels.

Stop Making Sense
“Stop Making Sense” is – by all accounts – the best concert film of all time. 40 years ago, David Byrne, the leader of the legendary band Talking Heads, joined forces with Jonathan Demme, known primarily for “The Silence of the Lambs” and “Philadelphia,” but also as the creator of New Order and Bruce Springsteen music videos. Thanks to this collaboration, a timeless work was created, which to this day captivates viewers, regardless of their musical tastes. The film was made in December 1983, at the peak of the band's career, during the tour promoting their album “Speaking in Tongues.” The whole thing was filmed at Hollywood's Pantages Theater, during three concert nights.
The film features all of Talking Heads' greatest hits – from “Burning Down the House,” through “Psycho Killer,” and “Once in a Lifetime,” to “This Must Be the Place” (in the Polish version, lyrics translated by Gaby Kulka). Demme is close to perfection in translating the emotions accompanying the musicians' stage ecstasy onto the screen, and the camera seems to be attuned to the extraordinary energy of David Byrn, who moves like a seasoned dancer. It was for the needs of these recorded concerts that the bandleader donned his famously huge gray suit, and his stage partner was a glowing lamp.

PJ Harvey. A Dog Called Money
A child presses her face curiously against the car window of British artist PJ Harvey and her collaborator, award-winning Irish photojournalist and filmmaker Seamus Murphy. They are in Kabul, Afghanistan, one of three places they travel to. The others are Kosovo and the poor districts of Washington, DC. PJ Harvey seeks inspiration, gathers impressions, collects words, observes, listens and absorbs. Her thoughts are heard off-screen. Murphy records it all. They chronicle a stranger whose keen gaze is focused on the reality of everyday life in the places he visits and learns about. Every moment is a potential opportunity to write a new song, find a good title or rhythm. Inspiration turns into poetry, which gives rise to the songs on The Hope Six Demolition Project. Back in London, PJ Harvey records these songs with her band in a specially designed studio under Somerset House in London, which serves as a kind of peep show, allowing the audience to watch the creative process through a one-way mirror. The film is a free-form visual collage that explores PJ Harvey's creative potential and the way she works and gains inspiration.
