Urchin

Gangsterska tragikomedia Elaine May o dwóch przyjaciołach i przekazenych do kamery nocnej odyseja dziejącej się w zaśmieconej Filadelfii – „mieście braterskiej miłości”, ponoszącej w tym samym roku biegał już Rocky Sylvestre’a Stallone’a.
May, matka chrześcijańska komedia improwizowana, była w tamtejszej dekadzie kobiecej, która reżyserowała filmy dla hollywoodzkich studiów. Dzięki jej uporowi i niezmordowanej inwencji otrzymaliśmy w Mikey i Nicky dzieło dwóch mistrzów: Petera Falka, czyli znanego porucznika Columbo, oraz Johna Cassavetesa, guru produkcji kina niezależnego. zagrożenie się na śmiech, który jest więźniem w gardle i rozmowami całkowitymi, które znajdują się o krok od krindżu.
