After her husband dies and her daughter leaves for Europe, Mahin (played by the excellent Lili Farhadpour) a seventy-year-old resident of Tehran feels lonely. She dreams of spending the autumn of her life with someone to share the joys and worries of everyday life with. During one of their meetings, her friends convince her to at least give herself another chance at love. Mahin's plan is simple - to break the daily routine and revive the love life she seems to have forgotten about long ago. After learning that an elderly taxi driver named Faramarz (Esmaeel Mehrabi) is also lonely, Mahin decides to invite him to her home and spend a wonderful evening with him. The story is also a pretext to show how the people of Iran try to cope with the oppressive, conservative regime.
