Growing up in a time when sexuality was taboo, Ana, 68, Patricia, 69, and Mayela, 71, developed their perception of what it means to be a woman based solely on unspoken rules and hidden expectations. Finally, after years of silence, they found the courage to speak out. The memories, secrets, and longings of the three protagonists correspond and intertwine in a poetic, moving way. Uneasy stories, full of inner anger and long-suppressed frustration, inhabit the body of another woman of this generation, who plays out roles from each of their lives and in this way connects their fates.
