Marta (Kulesza), a star of popular series, is 42 years old, strong and dominant. Despite fame and money, she still can't get her life together. Emotionally unstable 40-year-old Kasia (Muskała) is stuck in a far from ideal marriage (Marcin Dorociński plays her husband), raising a teenage son (Jeremi Protas). The sisters don't like each other very much, they don't understand each other at all and don't even try to understand each other's life choices. Illnesses and, as a consequence, the loss of one of their parents force them to work together. The women gradually get closer to each other, regain the lost contact, which causes a series of tragicomic situations.
