Julie is a star at an exclusive tennis academy. When her coach is suspended and then immediately dismissed from his duties following the suicide of a young player, everyone at the club is asked to testify to explain what happened. Julie, however, decides to remain silent against everyone and everything. She devotes her energy to sport, pursues her ambitions, there is nothing for her beyond tennis. Her environment questions her decision, which leaves room for various, even contradictory interpretations. Van Dijn touches on issues of violence, domination and control, and Julie's excellent use of light enhances her silence.
