"Carousel"
One Halloween night. One masked killer. Six potential victims. A group of high school students win a competition in which the prize is to spend a night in an amusement park closed to the public. However, a problem quickly arises - they are to be shown around the grounds by a former school friend with whom they have been at odds for a long time. Another, more serious problem follows him - a murderer dressed in a doll costume is roaming the town, who has set himself the goal of murdering everyone gathered. Will the heroes manage to avoid the carousel of death?
"Hostile Dimensions"
The film by Graham Hughes, known for "Death of a Vlogger", looks like a low-budget version of "Everything, Everywhere, at Once". The plot revolves around two documentarians who decide to travel to distant dimensions to find a missing girl.
Despite the budget of a plum cap, "Hostile Dimensions" is inventive, creative and full of interesting technical solutions. As a result, it is hard not to smile and appreciate the artistry of the creator, who tries to create a surprising horror movie for pennies.
"Night Silence"
Lucjan, a retired theater actor, is placed in a nursing home by his son. The residence located in the countryside seems like an idyllic place, with friendly staff ready to help and kind residents. However, it turns out that it hides a secret... Lucjan begins to haunt macabre visions. This coincides with the deaths of several residents. Lucjan will have to determine whether his visions are real or if he is losing his mind.
