Michelle enjoys a quiet retirement in a Burgundy village, where she spends time with her long-time friend Marie-Claude. When Valérie's daughter and son Lucas come for vacation from Paris, the elderly woman, stressed by their visit, serves her poisonous mushrooms for lunch. Valérie quickly recovers, but forbids her mother from seeing her grandson. Feeling lonely and guilty, Michelle falls into depression... until her friend Marie-Claude's son is released from prison... And this is where the action really begins - as it usually does with Ozon.
