After the death of attorney Antoni Zyro, his widow Urszula is visited by Joanna, the wife of a worker accused of leading a strike. Zyro was Dariusz's attorney, and Joanna asks Urszula for help. Leafing through her husband's notebook and the list of attorneys, she points to attorney Labrador. During a conversation with Tomek, a friend of her deceased husband, Urszula examines the notebook again and notices a question mark drawn in red marker next to Labrador's name. Initially, she thinks it's a prank played by Jacek's son, but later she suspects it's a sign from Antek.
