"Another End" is a vision of the near future, seemingly not much different from the one we live in. In this world, the death of a partner does not have to be the end of a relationship. Sal (the phenomenal Gael García Bernal) finds out about this, missing the love of his life - Zoe (Renate Reinsve - "The Worst Man in the World"). Sister Ebe (Bérénice Bejo) encourages him to try using the "Another End" technology, which allows the restoration of the consciousness of a person who has passed away in the body of another person.
